STEVE MORGAN, CEO, President: Founder and chairman of Wildlands, Mr. Morgan is responsible for executive oversight of all corporate activities. His prior business experience includes emphasis on real estate acquisition and finance.
MARK HEINTZ, COO, General Counsel: Mr. Heintz is responsible for the company's operations and legal matters. Mr. Heintz holds law degrees and diplomas from the Inns of Court School of Law, the University of London, and the University of Liverpool. Mr. Heintz's undergraduate studies were focused on Zoology and the Biological Sciences at the University of Calgary.
DAN KOMINEK, Vice President of Land Management: Mr. Kominek oversees habitat stewardship, agricultural production, and tenant relations for over 25,000 acres of protected open space. Mr. Kominek came to Wildlands in 2004 from his position as Animal Resource Manager for the University of California at Davis.
SHERRIE R. ALAND, Corporate Counsel: Sherrie brings to Wildlands more than 20 years of experience in real estate, land use and natural resource law. Ms. Aland manages the Company's day-to-day transactional and operational legal matters. Prior to joining Wildlands, Ms. Aland acted as outside counsel for the Company advising it on complex land use and real estate transactions. She also represented multiple national private and publicly-traded home building and real estate companies and was lead counsel in one of the largest real estate transactions in Sacramento history. Ms. Aland is a member of the Environmental and Real Estate Sections of the Sacramento County Bar Association and the Real Property Section of the State Bar of California. She is also a member of the Building Industry Association of Superior California, the Urban Land Institute and the American Planning Association. Ms. Aland is a graduate of McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific, and received a B.A. in Government from California State University Sacramento.
LARRY PIEPER, Vice President of Operations: Mr. Pieper has over 30 years of senior management experience overseeing company sales and operations. Larry has been directing west coast operations at Wildlands for the past seven years. As Vice President of Operations, Larry is responsible for coordinating all aspects of west coast projects, including: land acquisition, sales, planning, design build, biology, and finance. Prior to joining the Wildlands team in 2004, Mr. Pieper spent over 20 years in the electronic manufacturing industry where he co-founded several companies; the largest growing from one facility with 30 employees, to over 4,500 employees in multiple manufacturing facilities located in five countries worldwide.
KATHY DANIEL, Executive Vice President: With 24 years of experience in the legal industry, Ms. Daniel has spent the last seven years in the legal department at Wildlands working side by side with the chief executive managers. As Executive Vice President, Kathy continues to oversee all corporate matters as well as working with the management team to facilitate the focus of the executives, ensuring the talented team of employees receive support and direction to successfully achieve company goals. Prior to joining Wildlands in 2004, Kathy expanded her experience to include managing the operations department of one of the fastest growing, top rated publishing companies on the West Coast.
BRIAN MONAGHAN, Project Director: Mr. Monaghan's duties include mitigation credit sales, new market analysis and project development. Mr. Monaghan has over 12 years experience working for other mitigation banking firms as well as investment groups focused environmentally sensitive property. He is a licensed California Real Estate Broker.
CINDY TAMBINI, Corporate Director of Entitlement and Compliance: Ms. Tambini oversees the Wildlands planning team in guiding mitigation projects through the required entitlement and permitting processes, with an emphasis on ensuring high-quality ecological mitigation and regulatory compliance. Ms. Tambini has ten years of experience in ecological permitting and compliance.
WAYNE WHITE, Director of Business Development: Mr. White spent 31 years with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. As the Chief of Endangered Species Program and a Field Supervisor in Region 1 of USFWS, Mr. White developed Endangered Species Act (ESA) policy in early years of implementing the Act. While managing the USFWS's largest field office in Sacramento CA, he played an integral role in developing policy for conservation and mitigation banks for USFWS.
