The Natomas Basin Conservancy

Wildlands has been contracted to manage over 900 acres of managed marsh-upland complexes, grasslands and riparian woodland on the Natomas Basin Conservancy's eight completed mitigation preserves. Management activities include control of water levels in the managed marsh; upland and wetland vegetation management, including weed control; integrated management of controlled grazing; pest control; biological monitoring; fence maintenance; and limited public outreach activities.
