Wildlands designed and managed the construction of a vernal pool mitigation project for The Parkway, a residential community by Parker Development Company in Folsom, California.
Wildlands prepared construction drawings for more than 30 vernal pools, obtained a grading permit from the city of Folsom, and implemented construction of the habitat. The project serves as mitigation habitat for federally listed fairy shrimp and other vernal pool species. The project also includes a regional recreation trail providing five miles of new trails connecting with a regional plan.
