The Natomas Basin Conservancy
The Natomas Basin Conservancy also hired Wildlands to design and build habitat
on the Conservancy’s mitigation lands. Tasks include preparation
of design drawings, construction documents, grading and planting plans;
construction notes, and as-built drawings; coordination of permitting;
bidding and construction management; and biological monitoring for protection
of giant garter snakes, in compliance with the Habitat Conservation Plan.
Eight Conservancy properties have been completed and two more are under
construction in 2004.
Credits available for mitigation of impacts
to wetlands and endangered species
